Network Security Officer

Main Duties

• Manage, configure, and maintain network infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
• Conduct network planning and design activities to optimize infrastructure, incorporating transport solutions
• Develop and maintain up-to-date network infrastructure documentation
• Perform network security assessments and implement security policies
• Ensure network uptime by identifying and troubleshooting network issues
• Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software to meet business needs
• Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Skills/ Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Certifications in network technologies such as CCNA is advantaged
• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPLS, and VXLAN.
• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• At least 3 years of experience in network/infrastructure in the Banking sector is preferred
• Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Strong communication skills.
