Officer, IT Security Analyst

Main Duties

• Monitoring and analyzing networks traffic for potential security breaches, policy violations, or other suspicious activities.
• Monitoring insider threat and investigating on suspicious threat actor.
• Investigating breaches when they occur.
• Researching and follow up with the latest trends in cyber security.
• Reviewing on user access and activities from logs and traffic.
• Creating security alert or rules to detect abnormal activities in the environment.
• Responding to email and phone call to address notifications of IT security incidents.
• Identifying risks, breaches, and threats to perform escalation to Incident respond team and other related teams.

Skills/ Experiences

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field.
• Outstanding communication skills; strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Knowledge on Windows, Linux, and Unix file system and architecture.
• Knowledge on SIEM, anti-malware, EDR, OSINT, and incident procedures.
• Experience in router, firewall, switch and VLAN security; wireless security.
• Knowledge on windows logs and firewall logs, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and threat intelligence.
• Knowledge on TCP/IP, the OSI model, and diamond model and OODA loop.
• Prefer Industrial Certificates : CCNA, MCSA, CEH, Security+, CySA+, eCIR, CSA.
