(Phnom Penh) – Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia (FTB) – the first local commercial bank in Cambodia, officially launched three new branches in Phnom Penh on December 11, 2023. The three new branches are Sen Sok Branch, AEON Meanchey Branch, and Chroy Changvar Branch.
The grand opening ceremony was held at the Sen Sok Branch, attended by the Board of Directors of FTB, executive management team, staff and customers.
H.E. GUI Anvanith, the Chairman of the BoD of FTB highlighted, “With more than 40 years of banking experiences and local market insights, we have been providing a wide range of safe and high-quality financial services to our customers. We have earned the trusts and recognitions from our customers and business partners, and have been achieved sustainable business growth, by reaching a total asset of around 1.94 billion US dollars as of October 2023.”
“To continue in achieving growth and to align with our long term visions, we have been strengthening the bank’s governance and to fully comply with laws and regulations. With our strong business fundamentals, and our branding as a local banking partner to our clients, FTB has been expanding its physical branches and digital network such as ATMs, Mobile App and Internet Banking, etc.”, he added.
Mr. Dith Sochal, the Chief Executive Officer of FTB, said, “As the first and foremost local commercial bank in Cambodia, FTB has always adhered
to our missions of providing secure and high-quality banking services with the vision of becoming the most preferred commercial bank in the Kingdom of Cambodia.”

The presence of the new three branches will offer more and better options for customers from FTB – the leading and trusted local banking partner with strong fundamentals”, he continued.
Mr. Te Thengkong, Head of Retail Banking of FTB, followed, “the new branches will also offer a variety of banking products and services such as loans, deposits, local and international transfers, cards, trade finances, payroll services, bill payments to NSSF, tax payments and, payments to customs and excises, etc.”
The inauguration event also featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the three new branches, witnessed by the Chairman and the executive members of the bank. FTB also provides the set of gift cards as a token of appreciation to our 10 customers, who are the first account holders at our three new branches.
