FTB Officially Achieves PCI DSS Compliance, Reinforcing Commitment to Payment Security and Customer Data Protection

Phnom Penh – Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia (FTB), the first commercial bank in Cambodia trusted since 1979, has officially achieved PCI DSS Compliance, further reinforcing its commitment to payment security standards and customer data protection. The certification ceremony was held on February 25, 2026, at FTB’s headquarters, presided over by the FTB management, SISA Information Security Pte. Ltd. and SoftFlex Solutions Co., Ltd. management.

Mr. SOK Sambo, Head of the Information Technology Department, stated: “Achieving PCI DSS certification is an important milestone in our ongoing IT security and digital transformation journey.”

“It reflects our strong commitment to protecting customer information, maintaining trust, and aligning our operations with internationally recognized security standards. We will continue to strengthen our controls and capabilities as cyber threats evolve.”, he continued.

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is an internationally recognized security framework developed by major global card schemes to ensure that organizations processing, storing, or transmitting cardholder data implement strong security controls.
