Staff, Financial MIS Unit

The Staff of Financial MIS Unit is responsible for assisting in resolving, protecting and detecting systematic issues in the Bank’s core banking system, preparing and submitting relevant financial covenants and reports to lenders, business partners and related stakeholders and optimizing the productivity and efficiency of report preparation of all units under Planning and Reporting Office.

Main Duties

  • System issues solving:
     - Assist in the discussion in connection with system issues raised by relevant stakeholders with IT team;
     - Assist in monitoring and communicating with the IT team to resolve the systematic issues raised by other units under the Planning and Reporting Office at the very earliest.
  • Recalculation and Reconciliation:
     - Prepare the monthly accrued interest receivable (“AIR”) and accrued interest payable (“AIP”) calculation;
     - Prepare the loan and deposit interest settlement by tracing between customer statements and AIR and AIP listing;
     - Prepare loan, deposit and borrowing roll-forward;
     - Prepare the reconciliation of loans, deposits and other financial reports produced from the system against Trial Balance before distributing to relevant stakeholders.
  • Financial covenant and report submission and monitoring:
     - Assist in preparing and submitting financial covenants to lenders and business partners;
     - Assist in preparing and submitting the reports to relevant departments, based on their request and requirement;
     - Assist in initiating the reporting dashboard based on management requirements.
  • Productivity and Efficiency Optimization:
     - Regularly take charge in discussing the efficient and effective procedures for resolving systematic issues;
     - Take charge in automating the report preparation methodology to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Skills/ Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, IT, Data Science or other related fields;
  • At least 1 year in financial MIS or any other related fields;
  • Proficiency in T23 Core Banking system, Power BI, SQL, and other programing languages;
  • Good understanding of accounting and T24 Core Banking System architecture;
  • Proficiency in Ms. Excel and Query;
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
