Staff, Banking Application Administration Unit

The staff of the banking application administration unit ensures the completion of daily activities in the unit, ensuring alignment with users’ requests and relevant tasks assigned by the line manager.

Main Duties

  • Oversee the daily close of business operations for both the core banking and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems, ensuring all transactions are properly finalized, reconciled, and documented;
  • Process requests for granting, modifying, or revoking user access rights in both the core banking and AML systems, ensuring the appropriate permissions are applied based on roles and responsibilities;
  • Continuously monitor the performance and stability of both core banking and AML systems, identifying any potential risks or performance bottlenecks;
  • Proactively address any system issues, bugs, or anomalies by troubleshooting and working with the technical teams to resolve problems quickly and efficiently;
  • Utilize monitoring tools to track system health, ensuring systems are running optimally, and that service disruptions or outages are minimized;
  • Coordinate and implement necessary maintenance activities, including system patching, upgrades, and security updates to ensure core banking and AML systems are up to date and compliant with the latest standards;
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze new requirements for core banking and AML system administration or enhancements;
  • Provide support to any other system-related core banking administration or legacy;
  • Perform other task as assigned by line manager.

Skills/ Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field;
  • At least 1 year experience in supporting systems or core banking;
  • Technical (OS, DB, and Scripting);
  • System monitoring, managing service and logs;
  • Backup and restoration Skill;
  • Troubleshooting Skill;
  • Good understanding of systems or core banking;
  • Knowledge of system monitoring tools and techniques; Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
