Senior Staff, ESB & API Management Unit

The primary objective of this position is to drive the strategic management of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Application Programming Interface (API) services. By overseeing the architecture, implementation, and governance of these critical components, the role ensures seamless integration of systems and applications, enabling the company to rapidly adapt to changing business needs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Main Duties

• Monitor the performance and reliability of the existing ESB and API (Fiorano), promptly addressing any operational issues or service disruptions;
• Implement updates and patches to maintain the stability, security, and compliance of ESB and API platforms;
• Collaborate with operations teams to optimize infrastructure and ensure seamless integration and communication between systems;
• Gather and analyze new integration requirements from stakeholders, business units, and external partners;
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and design solutions leveraging ESB and API technologies;
• Collaborate with architects and solution designers to ensure alignment between business objectives and integration strategies;
• Assess resource requirements for ESB and API development initiatives, allocating team members and external resources as necessary;
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables;
• Perform other task as assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in managing ESB and API platforms.
• Good at experience in design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level ESB and API solutions to enable seamless integration and communication between internal systems, third-party applications, and external partners.
• Have a proven record in managing a team of ESB and API developers, providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
• Strong experience in establishing monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues within ESB and API environments.
