Relationship Manager, Green Project and Sustainable Initiative

Relationship Manager, Green Project and Sustainable Initiative Office (GSI) has an important role in managing ESG initiatives within FTB. It includes aligning business practices with sustainable principles while ensuring transparency, developing sustainable products covering loan and deposit, engaging with internal and external stakeholders across different areas, and working with Green development partners.

Main Duties

• Develop and Implement ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks that align with the organization’s values and goals;
• Initiate sustainable product solutions and campaigns with attractive features to compete with other local players;
• Work with internal stakeholders across different functions to channel sustainable priorities effectively with good collaboration and achieved performance;
• Seek concessional funding’s from development partners to support sustainable goals;
• Assist in capacity building to sales and relevant teams through workshops and training programs on sustainability matters;
• Monitor and report ESG performance, both internal bank footprint and customer loan/deposit portfolio level;
• Get updated on emerging ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to drive continuous improvement and initiatives;
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the line management.

Skills/ Experiences

• Bachelor/Master degree in Environmental studies, Banking, Business, Policy Studies, or related fields;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking and sustainability areas;
• Good knowledge of banking dynamics, insights, products, and services;
• Good knowledge of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and relevant regulations;
• Ability to develop and implement ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks tailored to the organization’s objectives;
• Financial understanding between sustainability initiatives and business value;
• Computer literacy; in particular, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
