Staff, Legal Affair Unit

Draft and/or review contracts, agreements or other terms and conditions, forms for use and legal document in the Bank and identify legal risks and provide legal advice to relevant department.

Main Duties

  • Provide legal advice to relevant department of the Bank;
  • Draft, review, revise contracts, MoU, agreements, legal documents, policies, as well as other terms and conditions or usage forms and drafting letters upon request from the relevant departments;
  • Assist the Head of the Legal Affairs Department and/or Senior Legal Officer by contributing legal insights/opinions, identifying legal risks and formulating legal advice;
  • Provide legal advice on documentation for registration, permit/license applications, corrections, re-registration/renewal, and notifications of changes on behalf of the Bank to the relevant ministry or competent authority/regulator upon request from the relevant department;
  • Liaise with the court and competent authorities/regulator, such as filing a report, preparing a complaint or responding to the court at the request of internal department or pursuant to a court order or participate as a representative during the hearing as assigned by the Bank;
  • Provide day-to-day support the Legal Affairs Department and attend meetings/training as assigned by the Head of Legal Affairs Department;
  • Assist in organizing legal training session for Bank staff, as directed by the Head of Legal Affairs Department;
  • Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations relevant to the Bank’s operations;
  • Perform duties and other responsibilities to achieve the Vision and Mission of the Bank.

Skills/ Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in of Law, or a related field.
  • At 1 years of professional experiences in a banking sector.
  • Draft and Review legal documents.
  • Provide legal assistance and advice.
  • Knowledge & experience in legal fields.
  • Researching skills.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving.
  • Professional Knowledge and Skills.
  • Coaching & Developing Others.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
  • English and Computer Skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
